Terms & Conditions

1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions outline the rules and regulations for the services provided by Sri Sadguru Aadhar Foundation (SSAFE), an old age home dedicated to supporting and caring for senior citizens in Bangalore.

2. Eligibility for Admission
Admission is available for individuals aged 60 and above, subject to approval by the management based on the assessment of medical and physical needs. All residents and their families must provide accurate personal, medical, and emergency contact information upon admission.

3. Fees and Payment Terms
Admission and monthly fees are to be paid in full by the designated due dates. All payments are non-refundable. Any extra services availed (e.g., special medical care) may incur additional charges, which will be communicated in advance. SSAFE reserves the right to adjust fees with one month’s prior notice to residents and/or their families.

4. Resident Responsibilities
Residents are expected to respect community guidelines, the privacy of other residents, and follow the facility’s code of conduct. Residents are responsible for informing management about any changes in medical conditions or dietary needs. Any belongings or valuables brought into the facility by residents are the responsibility of the residents or their families.

5. Facility Responsibilities
SSAFE provides a safe, hygienic, and compassionate environment for residents. Basic services provided include room and board, regular health check-ups, recreational activities, and emergency medical assistance. SSAFE may arrange external healthcare services as required but is not liable for any third-party services, such as hospitalizations.

6. Medical Care and Emergencies
Regular health check-ups are conducted, and records are maintained. However, residents or their families must bear the costs of any additional treatments not covered under the basic plan. In the event of a medical emergency, the facility will notify emergency contacts and arrange for prompt medical attention at nearby hospitals.

7. Visiting Hours and Guest Policy
Family and friends are welcome during designated visiting hours. Any exceptions should be pre-approved by the facility management. Visitors must adhere to SSAFE’s code of conduct and respect the privacy and space of other residents.

8. Property and Liability
Residents and their families are encouraged to take necessary precautions to safeguard their personal belongings. SSAFE is not responsible for any loss or damage to residents’ personal items within the facility.

9. Termination and Discharge
Residents may voluntarily terminate their stay with prior written notice to management. SSAFE reserves the right to discharge residents if they are found to be in violation of facility rules or if their health condition requires specialized care that the facility cannot provide.

10. Grievance Redressal
Residents and families can address grievances to the SSAFE management team, which will work to resolve concerns promptly and fairly.

11. Amendments to Terms and Conditions
SSAFE reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Residents and their families will be notified of any significant changes in advance.

12. Acceptance of Terms
Admission to SSAFE constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions by the resident and their family.
